Cash App generally prohibits gambling transactions. Its Acceptable Use Policy defines gambling as risking something of value for a chance to receive something of value, with an exception for legal activity involving merchants approved by Cash App and its banking partners.

That exception does not mean every casino, sportsbook, lottery, or other gambling service is supported. Sponsored accounts, for example, cannot use Cash Card at government-licensed casinos, online gambling merchants, or horse- and dog-racing venues.
